Ambitious spatial requirements, spatial constraints, restrictive zoning, and seemingly irreconcilable technical challenges threatened to derail the vision of this client after conventional design approaches failed to integrate the various complex wish lists within the strict design limitations.
This was an extension project meant to serve as a vacation home for a young couple. The clients’ vision for this project was very clear, but the restrictive zoning regulations of the location, and space constraints stood to derail this vision.
